Road House: Where Are You Guys Now?

Road House has become quite a classic memory from the 90s, and its memorable lines still ring in our ears like “I want you to be nice until it’s time to not be nice.” But where are the stars in Road House now? Click through to find out answers.

1. Patrick Swayze (Played Dalton in Road House)

After his fantastic portrayal in “Road House”, Patrick Swayze co-starred with Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg in “Ghost”, and then later in “Point Break” with Keanu Reeves. He received three Golden Globe Award nominations during his acting career. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2008 and died in 2009 at the age of 57. His final role was “The Beast and Powder Blue”.


2. Kelly Lynch (Played Doc in Road House)

After her appearance in Road House, Kelly Lynch won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for her performance in the crime drama “Drugstore Cowboy”. She had leading roles in “Desperate Hours”, “Imaginary Crimes”, “Homegrown”, and supporting roles in “Charlie’s Angels” and “The Jacket”.


3. Sam Elliott (Played Wade Garrett in Road House)

After his excellent portrayal of Dalton’s mentor Wade Garrett in “Road House”, Sam Elliott showed himself in movies like “Hulk”, “Ghost Rider”, and “Grandma”. He was nominated for a CFCA Award once for his role of Karl in “Grandma”.


4. Ben Gazzara (Played Wade Brad Wesley in Road House)

We could find Ben Gazzara in Coen Brothers’ smash hit “The Big Lebowski”, “The Thomas Crown Affair” and “Summer of Sam”. He won an Emmy Award for his role in “Hysterical Blindness” in 2003. But unfortunately he has left us in 2012 at the age of 81. We miss him a lot.


5. Marshall R. Teague (Played Jimmy in Road House)

Jimmy in “Road House” maybe is Marshall’s more famous role, his less-known roles include “Babylon 5”, “Armageddon”, “Star Trek: Voyager”, “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”.


6. Julie Michaels (Played Denise in Road House)

The blonde bombshell Denise was Julie Michaels’ first role in acting, but not the last. She worked with Patrick Swayze again in “Point Break”. Her acting resume includes “Baywatch”, “Weeds”, “House” and “Southland”. As a stuntwoman, she performed in “Batman Forever”, “Batman & Robin”, “Titanic”, “Rush Hour 3” and more.


7. Kevin Tighe

You may not know the name Kevin Tighe, but you may have seen him in “Another 48 Hrs”, “Newsies” and “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape”.
